Jeff has spent over two decades working inside the energy industry. He has negotiated directly with suppliers, built brokerage operations from the ground up, and helped enterprise clients from cities to Fortune 100 utilities make better decisions about how they buy and manage power. That hands-on background shapes how he approaches every topic he covers: with a focus on what actually matters to consumers and businesses navigating a market that can feel deliberately complicated.
Jeff has held operational and strategic roles across retail energy, analytics, and commercial operations, at startups, global advisory firms, and established energy companies including brokers and utility scale power generation. He understands the electricity markets from multiple sides: as an operator, broker, and as someone who has built the systems that sit behind energy procurement and pricing.
Before moving into commercial roles, he served as a nuclear electronics technician in the U.S. Navy where precision and accountability weren’t optional. That foundation has carried through everything he’s done since.
