Overview
Veteran Energy was founded by energy executive and former US military member Kevin Barber, who was looking for ways to support the nation's heroes more. Barber launched the energy company in 2010 because he thought the provision of electricity should include a specific benefit for veterans. The business now offers customers electricity at affordable prices while simultaneously supporting the veteran and military communities. A payment is made to a military charity automatically for electricity plans purchased through the provider.

Fixed-rate plans: With fixed-rate plans, you'll be paying the same rate for every kilowatt-hour of power you use during your electricity contract. It's a straightforward and predictable way to manage your energy costs. Contracts usually range from one to three years. So, here's the deal: if you decide to cancel your plan before your contract is up, you might end up having to pay something called an early termination fee (ETF). One great thing about fixed-rate plans is that the price you pay for energy stays the same, which means you don't have to worry about sudden increases in the market.
Bill credit plans: Bill credit plans are a type of electricity plan where customers receive a credit on their bill after using a certain amount of electricity. This credit can be applied to future bills or can be paid out in cash. Bill credit plans are a great way to save money on your electricity bill, especially if you use a lot of electricity. Some companies offer bill credit plans as an incentive to get customers to sign up for their services.
How to sign up for service with Veteran Energy
You can sign up for any Veteran Energy plan through Gatby in less than five minutes. Once you have picked the plan that makes the most sense for your house, Gatby will submit the order through our integration to Veteran Energy. While they would prefer a three day notice, Veteran Energy can do same-day service start dates. Veteran Energy and the local utility (TDSP) will coordinate to make sure service is started when you need it!
